Silver gold-plated earrings for every occasion
Gold-plated and gold-filled earrings : luxury jewelry at its best
Marie Laure Chamorel’s luxury jewelry is a mosaic of materials, colours, shapes and styles. She takes her inspiration from her love of art, her trips to Bali and the items gleaned in her favourite flea markets across the globe. The designer allies couture with jewelry and builds each pair of gold-filled earrings step by step, like a sculptor would create a statue. What emerges from this unique process is an inimitable kind of earrings, bracelets, rings and necklaces which Marie Laure Chamorel herself describes as « textile jewelry ».
Handmade gold-plated earrings
Every one of these earrings is an ode to luxury craftsmanship, and a reminder of the fact that beauty lies in simplicity. Marie Laure Chamorel’s jewelry is characterized by its refined shapes and eclectic styles. Her silver gold-plated earrings are handmade and they celebrate the marriage of many alluring materials such as zircon crystals and silver, green tourmaline and gold-plated silver, ruthenium and solid silver, sterling silver, ruthenium and zircon crystals.
Polki diamond earrings
Uncut polki diamonds are among the world’s oldest types of diamonds. Five hundred years ago, North Indian jewelry makers used them to study the earrings and necklaces of Moghul royalty members. Polki diamonds are one of Marie Laure Chamorel’s preferred earring ornaments, because they are perfectly in line with the designer’s passion for antique and sentimental jewelry. Each of these unfaceted, unfinished and asymmetrical diamonds comes with its own unique shape and brightness. Their intriguing charm gives a touch of originality to 14k gold-filled hoop earrings, loop diamond earrings, gold-plated stud earrings and gold-filled huggie earrings.
Gold-filled hoop earrings
Loop diamond earrings and backward hoop earrings represent the perfect balance between classicism and sophistication. These gold-filled earrings are finely crafted and come in various diameters, from 6 mm (0.2 in) to 8 mm (0.3 in), 1,3 cm (0.5 in), 1,8 cm (0.7 in), 2 cm (0.8 in) and 4,2 cm (1.6 in). Some of the loop earrings in Marie Laure Chamorel’s jewelry lines are decorated with golden mini bells and multi-coloured tourmaline, a semiprecious stone with a rich metaphorical value : it symbolizes wisdom, gentleness and compassion. Tourmaline is one of the few gemstones that come in a wide variety of colours, from green to pink to burgundy red, purple and even brown. These gorgeous adornments give a playful aspect to gold-plated earrings and gold-filled earrings.
Gold-plated threader earrings and teardrop earrings of various lengths
Marie Laure Chamorel’s pendant earrings bring a touch of femininity to every daytime or evening outfit. Her teardrop earrings highlight the elegance of zircon crystals, tourmaline stones and polki diamonds. The lengthier models of threader earrings and tassel earrings measure 6,3 cm (2.5 in), 8,5 cm (3.3 in), 9 cm (3,5 in), 9,5 cm (3.7 in), 10 cm (3.9 in), 10,5 cm (4.1 in) and even 13 cm (5.1 in). It allows them to dangle elegantly along the neck and above the shoulders. Such long earrings pair up especially well with a bun, a ponytail or a short haircut. They feature gold-plated silver chains, solid silver braids, silk thread, mini bells, grey beads and crystal pearls.
